Great defense yesterday after a little slow start. We only gave at most 2 runs in any inning after the first. We need to work on getting the ball in on the short hits to outfield to prevent the runners from advancing as well as some of our throws in the infield, but this will come. It is still very early in the season leaving us with some time to experiment.
The pitching by Paul Y. and Ricky B. was excellent. It is a good combination and I like having the ability to go to either depending on the situation.
